We’re excited to share some big news: Fathom Film Group is officially expanding into scripted content, marking a major new chapter for the company.


As announced exclusively by Deadline, Fathom is joining forces with Nicole Butler, former co-CEO of Pier 21 Films and Executive Producer of acclaimed series including Late Bloomer, Run the Burbs, and Don’t Even. Nicole will lead the development of Fathom’s growing slate of scripted comedy and drama, while CEO Ann Shin continues to oversee the company’s overall creative vision across both scripted and unscripted projects.


This expansion builds on Fathom’s long-standing reputation for bold, character-driven storytelling and reflects a broader diversification strategy as the company scales its creative ambitions across platforms and genres.
