The Bell Fund has announced its decisions for the Short-Form Digital Series Program. Over $2 million has been approved to support 13 independent production companies to produce 7 English and 6 French digital series.
Fathom Film is delighted to be among the chosen production companies and will apply the funding to their series: The Cartoons That Shaped Us.
The Cartoons That Shaped Us follows Canadian voice actor, Eric Bauza, as he and his guests explore the world of cartoons, taking a deep dive through the archives from multiple eras, in a quest to better learn how cartoons have shaped us.
The series will air on CBC Gem next year.
