Producer Mariam Bastani is an emerging producer and the funding coordinator at Fathom. She has secured financial support from Sundance, Ford Foundation JustFilms, William Greaves Fund, Black Public Media, and more. Mariam started her career in documentary after a successful career in publishing, including Editor-in-Chief of San Francisco music publication Maximum RocknRoll, and continued work with Toronto's Rue Morgue Magazine.
