Nicole Butler

Nicole Butler is an executive producer and producer with extensive experience in development, adaptations, international co-productions and acclaimed scripted and unscripted content. For six years, she served as Co-CEO and COO of Pier 21 Films, leading the company through significant growth until its acquisition by Blink49 in 2025. At Pier 21, Nicole developed and executive produced three seasons of the CSA Award-winning Run the Burbs (CBC, Hulu, The CW), two seasons of Late Bloomer (Crave/Bell Media), winner of four Canadian Screen Awards, and Don’t Even (Crave/Bell Media).
Previously, Nicole produced three seasons of The Beaverton (CTV/Bell Media) and held senior roles at eOne and Barna-Alper, working across drama, comedy and factual projects including Call Me Fitz (HBO Canada, DirecTV Audience US), Almost Heroes (Showcase) and Celine (CBC).
