We’re very excited to continue the festival run of ‘My Enemy, My Brother’ with the European premiere this coming June at the Sheffield Doc/Fest. Thanks to everyone who has seen the film so far. The film had its World Premiere April 17th to a sold out crowd at the Tribeca Film Festival, as part of the “Be Yourself” shorts program, and was presented by New York Times Op-Docs. One week later, on April 24th we had our Canadian Premiere at the Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival, paired with “Warriors From the North”, directed by Soeren Steen Jespersen and Nasib Farah, which was awarded the Best Mid-Length Documentary at the festival.
In other ‘My Enemy, My Brother’ news, the film has a special one week Oscar qualifying run, starting Friday, May 8 at the IFC theatre in New York this week. This will be followed by the launch of our brand new open forum web series, that will continue to follow the story of Najah and Zahed, launching May 12 at myenemymybrother.com. Be sure to also follow us on Twitter @EnemyBrother for updates, and to join the discussion.
